Rose is a gentle lady with a loyal, devoted heart. Ball is life, but her humans are her whole world. She can be a little bossy, but she prefers to think of herself as a confident leader. She’s a fast learner who loves having a job, a professional cuddler, and a certified lap dog. Rose is also a proud collector of giant sticks and rolls upside-down for joy and belly rubs.
Ideal Home
Rose would thrive in an active household that loves walks, runs, and playtime. She would do best with an experienced dog handler, as she can be a great intro Malinois if you’ve trained before. Older children are a yes, and she gets along with dogs of all sizes, but slow introductions are recommended. Rose has a high prey drive, so she cannot be placed in a home with cats or chickens. She would also thrive as a solo dog.
Rose may be anxious at first in new places or crates, but once she trusts you, she settles beautifully. Car rides make her nervous, but she is practicing and improving. Loud noises like fireworks or gunfire scare her. She pulls on leash and benefits from gentle training tools while she learns.

Training & Support
Rose is fully house-trained and knows the commands sit, down, leave it, heel, here, and up. She is motivated by treats and playtime. She has excellent recall and will jump a fence to reach her person, showing her dedication. She pulls on leash and benefits from gentle training tools while she learns.

Transportation
Rose is located in Houston, TX. She is available for transport within TX, OK, NM, CO, LA, and KS, but the adopter must meet transport at least halfway. We do prefer adopters pick up their new companion in person when possible.
