Aster

Meet Aster, a handsome and huggable 6-year-old, 73-pound gentleman with a slight obsession for fetch! Aster is a big fan of humans of all sizes and does well with other dogs his size, provided introductions are slow and steady. If you're looking for a dog to be your one and only, he would also happily be your companion. He's already house and crate trained, knows "sit" and "stay," and is always up for a walk or a trip to the store. Aster is playful when it's time for fun but is also a professional snuggler when it's time to relax. While his leash skills are pretty good, they could always use a little more practice, but hey, nobody's perfect! Imagine coming home to this sweet face and a full-body hug every day.

Ideal Home

Aster would do well in a home with humans of all ages and can coexist with dogs of similar size, given slow introductions. He would also be happy as an only dog. He is not a good fit for homes with cats or small animals.

Ongoing Health

Aster is fully vetted, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip.

Training & Support

Aster is house and crate trained and knows "sit" and "stay." His leash skills are good but could be improved with continued practice. He will benefit from the 3-3-3 rule when settling into a new home, which involves patience and understanding as he adjusts to new people and a new schedule.
