Jericho

Hi, I’m Jericho! I’m a 3-year-old, 54-pound tan pit bull with a big heart, a quiet nature, and a whole lot of potential in the right hands. I’m a gentle soul who doesn’t bark, which many find to be one of my best qualities. I’m also crate trained and will even put myself to bed if you leave my kennel door open!

Ideal Home

I love children, but I do best with older kids (5 and up) as small children and toddlers can scare me. I’m also good with other dogs. My curiosity makes me a little too interested in cats, so a home without them would be best.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

I’ve completed a four-week training program and my foster has continued working with me. While I’ve learned a lot, I still need someone with real dog experience who is confident, consistent, and committed to continuing my training. I can be pushy, mouthy, and I’ll jump up if allowed. I don’t have the best door manners yet and will try to push through if excited. However, I respond beautifully to structure, am smart, and eager to learn. I need plenty of sturdy chew toys, as I am a power chewer – Nylabones are my favorite!

I am currently in Waterloo, SC, but I can be transported out of state for the right home. Please note, there is a transport fee.
