Vela is the whole package: affectionate, athletic, and a true couch potato. She's curious about the world around her and carries herself with a dignified air. Vela is loyal to those she loves and adores nothing more than showering her favorite people with kisses and gentle affection. Vela is a true friend to all, with a friendly and open demeanor that will win over anyone she meets. Vela is a unique and special girl who is sure to bring joy and laughter to her new family. Vela is a 16-month-old, 15 lb Chihuahua mix who was found as a stray in Puerto Rico and brought to us by a good samaritan. She has been a joy to foster and will make an excellent pet.

Vela would love a home that appreciates her playful spirit and her quiet, thoughtful side. She's known to be good with cats and children under 8, and while interactions with children 8 and up are unknown, her overall friendly demeanor suggests she could adapt well.
