Winnie

Winnie is a sweet and gentle 5-year-old girl who absolutely adores being close to her person. She's happiest when she can simply spend time nearby, whether that means relaxing at home with you or heading out for a nice walk together. One of her favorite places is her cozy kennel, where she enjoys taking peaceful naps during the day and feeling safe and comfortable. Winnie has a wonderfully calm nature and good manners, generally staying relaxed and calm while receiving attention. She can get a little jumpy when she's extra excited, like first thing in the morning when she's overjoyed to see you, but otherwise, she's a picture of tranquility. She's incredibly attentive and observant, always watching the people around her. While we aren't certain if Winnie is deaf, she already responds beautifully to hand signals and would likely excel at learning more visual cues with a patient adopter.

Ideal Home

Winnie would thrive in a home where she can be a close companion. She can be a little wary around young children, so a home with patience, consistency, and positive experiences for her to grow more comfortable would be ideal.

Training & Support

Winnie is generally well-mannered. She may get a bit jumpy when excited, but otherwise stays calm. She's already responsive to hand signals and would likely benefit from continued positive reinforcement and visual cue training.
