Shelby

Shelby is a truly sweet girl with a heart full of love to give. She's a senior, but her spirit and energy are much younger than her approximate 9.5 years. Shelby and her buddy Dex found themselves without a home and had a very scary and stressful time. Thankfully, they were rescued and received much-needed veterinary care. Shelby is now on the mend and expected to be as good as new! She quickly adapted to her new surroundings and thrives on kindness, soft pets, and a full belly. Shelby loves to be by her people's side, following them around the house, joining them outside, or napping nearby while they work. She settles in for the night without any fuss and sleeps soundly. Shelby is house-trained, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and knows several tricks and commands. She's past the puppy stage and offers a wonderful balance of playful energy and a desire to chill. Shelby is very food-motivated, making her eager to learn new things. She's incredibly grateful for this second chance at a happy life.

Ideal Home

Shelby would love to be adopted with her buddy Dex, but she also loves people so much that she would adapt well on her own. She wants to be wherever her people are.

Ongoing Health

Shelby has received veterinary care and is expected to be as good as new. She is up-to-date on all her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Shelby is house-trained with zero accidents. She knows some tricks and commands and is very food/treat motivated, which will make training a breeze.
