Lando

Hi friends! My name is Lando, and I'm a 1.5-year-old, neutered Shepherd mix weighing around 48 lbs. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter and am now waiting for my pawfect, loving home! I'm a sweetheart with a friendly and energetic personality. Once I've had my exercise, I love to relax and cuddle. I'm all heart and so grateful for my second chance at life!

Ideal Home

I would do best in a home with another playful dog. I also need a home without young children, or with adults and teenage children who understand my need to resource guard human food. An active owner who will let me play, run, and walk is a must! I also prefer not to be left alone for the majority of the day, as I can get a bit anxious when home alone. No cats, please!

Ongoing Health

I have successfully completed a board and train program to help with resource guarding human food and to gain proper training skills. I still need a family who can continue to work with me on this, and keep the kitchen off-limits.

Training & Support

I am good with bathroom habits and am working on my leash training. I'm not a big fan of crates, but can be lured in with treats and will settle once inside. My new family will need to help me continue my training, especially around food.
