Soft Eyes. Gentle Energy.
Smokey is a young mixed-breed girl with a beautiful black coat, soft soulful eyes, and a calm, easy presence that makes you relax the moment you meet her. At around 35 pounds, she’s that perfect in-between size — big enough for adventures, gentle enough to melt quietly into your daily life. Smokey has a naturally sweet, easygoing personality. She loves to play and run with her siblings, but she’s not chaotic or overwhelming — she’s the kind of dog who joins in, has fun, and then happily settles when things slow down. There’s a quiet steadiness about her that makes her feel older than she is. She greets new people with confidence and warmth, and her social nature shines almost immediately. Smokey is comfortable being handled, loves attention, and adapts easily to new environments. She has a calm curiosity about the world — observant, friendly, and ready to be part of whatever’s happening around her. Growing up surrounded by other dogs has made Smokey incredibly social. She loves canine companionship, plays beautifully with others, and reads dog energy well. She’s submissive and easygoing, happy to follow the flow, and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog — though she’s adaptable enough to do well as an only pup too.
Ideal Home
Smokey would do well in a home with another friendly dog, but can also be an only pup. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pet and family.
Ongoing Health
Smokey is a healthy young pup.
Training & Support
Smokey is still learning the basics and will need guidance with leash skills and crate experience, but she’s very eager to please and responds well to gentle correction. She’s the kind of dog who wants to do the right thing — she just needs someone to show her how.
