Meet Grace! This bubbly and sweet girl is a petite young lady with a brand new leash on life after a very rough start. She was rescued as a stray after raising her babies under a fallen tree in the Texas summer heat. Thankfully, a caring street dog feeder found Grace and her pups and brought them to the rescue. It didn't take long for Grace to make friends with everyone, both two-legged and four-legged! She loves squeaky toys, cuddling with her canine companions, and showing off her zoomies in the courtyard.
While Grace looks like a Vizsla/Staffy/Bully mix, she has strong herding instincts. She adores being close to her people and prefers to be with them in a group. She'll shower everyone nearby with affection and may try to "herd" anyone who walks away. Grace would do best in a home with people experienced with herding breeds.

Transporation
Grace is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee, with pick-up locations that may vary, including in a nearby state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
