Panchita

Panchita is a 2-3 year old, 33lb female Creole mix with a heart full of love and a smile to match! Rescued in March 2024 from Saltillo, Mexico, she's a truly sweet, noble, and charismatic girl who aims to please. Panchita is incredibly loving, intelligent, and well-behaved. She's very sociable with people, children, and other dogs, and enjoys playtime, walks, and affection. She's also crate and leash trained, making her a wonderful companion. Panchita was found as a stray who had recently given birth to 7 puppies. Fortunately, she and her litter were rescued and are now thriving in foster care.

Ideal Home

Panchita would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and with active families who enjoy outdoor activities. She needs a family with an open conscience about the needs of rescued animals and who has experience with dog behavior and training. A high level of tolerance and patience is also essential, as she is not yet house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Panchita has received a comprehensive health protocol including: Spay/Neuter Certificate, 2 DHPPI vaccines, Rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, 4DX Test and Certificate, Negative Heartworm test Certificate, and monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive. She will also come with a Health Certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Panchita is not currently house-trained and will require ongoing patience and consistent training. Her foster team emphasizes that while they do their best, it's impossible to house-train every rescued pet due to the sheer number of animals they care for. She is crate and leash trained.

Transportation

Panchita is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on the next cross-country trip. Transportation to the adopter's home address on the East Coast is available for an additional fee of $400.00, which is to be paid by the adopter prior to departure.
