Tempesta

Meet Tempesta! This sweet girl is a bit timid but incredibly snuggly. She came in with her friend Baby Hugs, and while they look alike, their sweet personalities are what truly connect them. Tempesta is a smart cookie who listens well and knows several commands, but her "sad wave" is a unique trick that will melt your heart. She's quiet in her kennel and doesn't want to be overlooked because she doesn't have a dramatic backstory. She's heartbroken to be without a home, just the same.

Tempesta would do well in a home that understands her timid nature and can offer her patience and love.

Ongoing Health

Tempesta will be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption.

Training & Support

Tempesta knows several commands, including a sweet "sad wave." She is not yet house-trained, so a commitment to ongoing training is essential. Slow, cautious introductions are recommended if you have other dogs.

• All household members, especially those under 18 and any decision-makers, should be present to meet dogs.
• Dog-to-dog meet and greets can be arranged. Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your current dog(s) is required.

Transportation

Tempesta is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Walk-in visitors are welcome daily from 12 pm to 7 pm. Please plan to arrive before 5:30 pm if you intend to adopt the same day.
