Hershey is a resilient senior Dachshund mix who was rescued from a high-kill shelter at the very last minute. This charming "low rider" boy has had a bit of a rough past, but he's now thriving with our trainer, learning to embrace his inner happy dog, embrace his short legs, and even discovering a love for retrieving tennis balls! He's a strong-willed little guy with a heart of gold. Hershey absolutely adores his people and will happily follow you everywhere, especially if there's an endless supply of tennis balls and daily energetic walks involved. While Hershey may need a little time to fully trust, once he does, his devotion is unwavering. He'll follow you to the moon and back!
