Daisy is a very special girl with a heart full of love. She and her best friend Bruno were rescued from euthanasia at a shelter 5 years ago. After Bruno's recent passing, Daisy has done incredibly well adjusting, but the arrival of the family's newborn has been overwhelming for her. She’s sweet, loyal, and gentle with adults and older children, but the noises and unpredictability of a newborn are causing her stress and excitement. The family is heartbroken, but they know Daisy deserves a calm, stable home where she can thrive.
Ideal Home
Daisy would do best in a home without other pets. She is people-friendly and generally good with older children, but the family prefers a home without very young children or babies, as the sounds and unpredictability of little ones can cause her stress. A patient and loving person who understands the Pitbull breed and anxiety in dogs will be ideal for Daisy.
Ongoing Health
Daisy has slight incontinence, which is managed with daily medication. Her current family will provide all her vet records, crate, food, and diapers for occasional use to help with her transition to a new home. She is fully vaccinated and spayed.
Training & Support
Daisy is house-trained. She is described as needing someone patient and loving who will allow her time to adjust to her new surroundings. Her current family emphasizes that she does not do well with the noises and unpredictability of a newborn, which causes her stress and excitement.
