Piper

Hey there! I'm Piper, a charming pit bull and Aussie mix who's about two years young and weighs in at a petite 33 pounds. My heart is as big as my personality, and I'm a gentle soul looking for my forever family. I have a very close bond with my sister, Lilly, and find comfort in her presence, so I'd do best in a home where I can have the companionship of other dogs. I'm a bit shy at first, especially on leash, and I tend to freeze up. But with a patient and gentle hand, I learn to trust and find my stride!

Ideal Home

I absolutely adore children and get along wonderfully with other dogs. While I haven't met any cats yet, we can arrange a test if it's important for your household! I thrive on feeling safe and loved, and once I do, my playful and gentle nature shines through. Belly rubs, butt scratches, a good bone to chew, and chasing tennis balls are some of my favorite things!

I will be spayed and fully vaccinated before I join your family.

Training & Support

I'm already crate trained and respond well to gentle corrections. My leash skills are a work in progress, and I'm still learning to be potty trained. However, I'm a quick learner and, like my brother who caught on in just two weeks, I'm confident I'll master this quickly too! I do jump up when I get excited, but it's out of pure happiness, not aggression, and I'd love some help learning better manners.

I'm currently located in Burkesville, KY, but I can be transported to other locations for adoption. A transport fee may apply if volunteer transport is not available.
