About Scout 2

Hi there! I'm Scout, a 1-year-old, 40-lb Lab mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure! I've been patiently waiting for my forever family for over 6 months, and I know they're out there somewhere. I'm the ultimate best friend and adventure buddy, always up for exploring new trails, playing in the yard, or just enjoying some quality time with my favorite people. I'm a happy and energetic boy who thrives on making memories.

My favorite thing in the world is sharing life with my humans. I absolutely adore people, I'm fantastic with kids, and I have the sweetest, most affectionate personality. After a fun-filled day, I love nothing more than snuggling up and soaking in all the love. I'm also a social butterfly who enjoys the company of other dogs and loves having furry friends to play with. I even handled a busy adoption event with lots of people and dogs like a champ!

A few more reasons you'll fall in love with me:

  • I'm potty trained!
  • I'm crate trained!
  • I'm leash trained!
  • I'm dog friendly!
  • I'm kid-approved!
  • I love toys, chew bones, and playing outside!
  • I'm always ready for my next adventure!

I do have one cute quirk – I like to lay down while I eat. I guess I just believe snacks are best enjoyed when you're comfy! I'm still young, eager to learn, and have so much love to give. I'm hoping my forever family will see me soon and realize I'm the one they've been waiting for!
