Meet Lucas! Lucas is a handsome 9-to-10-month-old Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier mix who is eager to find his forever home. He's been waiting patiently since he was just a pup and is ready for his next adventure. Lucas is a cuddly companion who loves to be by your side, and he's very treat-motivated, making him a great listener. He's also a handsome black dog, and we're hoping to find some black dog enthusiasts who will see just how wonderful he is!

Ideal Home

Lucas is looking for an active young family or a single person who can keep up with his playful energy. While he adores children and gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes, his high energy means he might accidentally knock over very young ones. Due to his prey drive when outdoors, Lucas would do best in a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Lucas is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. He is also current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Lucas is a quick learner and very responsive to positive reinforcement, especially with treats! While he's young and full of energy, he listens well and is eager to please.

Transporation

Lucas is available for meet-and-greets locally in Stockbridge, GA. He can also be adopted out of state to approved adopters, with an additional transport fee.
