At 4 ½ years old, this gentle boy is a true cuddle bug, happiest when snuggled up next to his favorite people. Daquiri used to be the life of the party, a social butterfly who loved making friends. But after a tough experience with a larger dog, his confidence was shaken, and he’s been feeling shy and unsure around other pups ever since. Now, he’s searching for a patient and loving family—or a dedicated person—who will help him rediscover his courage and remind him what it feels like to be safe and confident again. With the right home, Daquiri is sure to blossom into the happy, playful dog he once was. He just needs someone to believe in him. Could that be you? Ongoing Health
All vetting is up to date, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Daquiri is shy and unsure around other dogs due to a past negative experience. He will need continued training and understanding to help him build his confidence. He has been receiving socialization and one-on-one bonding time, and we are working on leash training and basic commands.

Transportation
Daquiri is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. He is currently located in Angleton, TX. He can be transported to you via our comfortable transport buses. You will have the opportunity to follow his journey and connect with other adopters on a private Facebook Event page. Our Adoption Coordinator will help you find the closest transport pick-up location.
