Meet Kaine!

Kaine is a handsome Pittie mix, estimated to be around 3 years old and weighing between 55-60 pounds. He arrived as a stray and was never reclaimed. Kaine is a friendly, loyal pup who can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly with treats and affection. He enjoys giving hugs and loves playtime in the yard, where he happily gets the zoomies! Kaine is still learning about the world and can feel nervous in new environments or situations, but he has been making great progress with positive experiences and encouragement. He has been going on field trips with his favorite people and enjoys learning more about the real world!

Ideal Home

Kaine would do best in a home with children aged 12 and older. He would prefer a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Kaine is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Kaine walks nicely on a leash and already knows how to "sit" for a treat. He may be able to live with another medium to large dog, especially one with a more submissive personality; a meet-and-greet at the shelter would be required to ensure a good fit.
