Meet Smokey.

A scruffy little 7lb, 4yo terrier mix with a soft silver-and-apricot coat and a curious spirit, Smokey is always ready for the next adventure especially if it involves a car ride, which just might be his favorite thing in the world.

Friendly, affectionate, and full of personality, Smokey loves other dogs, enjoys playtime, and wants to be wherever his people are. Beneath his playful side is a deeply loyal little dog who truly thrives on companionship and connection.

Smokey would do best in a home with another friendly canine buddy and people who are around most of the time. He takes comfort in both human and dog companionship and is happiest when he has his emotional support crew nearby.

His coat will need regular grooming to keep him looking sharp, but he already know he's adorable.

Loyal and gentle at heart, Smokey is the perfect mix of playful explorer and devoted sidekick ready to ride shotgun straight into his forever home.

S.T.A.R. Group, Inc is a foster-based organization located in Corpus Christi, TX. All pets are in a foster home in South Texas and are transported once adopted. Our animals are listed in different cities throughout the country that has transport available.

Adoption Fee includes a microchip, all age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, current on recommended preventions and a ride on the next available transport to their new families' area.

Applications are processed in the order they are received. S.T.A.R. Group is made up of volunteers, so please give us a couple of days to begin processing your application.
