Joker

Meet Joker, also known as "Pooh Pooh Bear" by his foster mom! This sweet Mini Poodle is a breeder release who has traded in his former career for the much more important job of professional cuddle bug. Joker's favorite pastime is ensuring his favorite human always knows where he is – which is right by their side, preferably on their lap! He truly believes personal space is overrated and will happily volunteer to be your snuggle buddy during any activity, from watching TV to reading a book.

Ideal Home

Joker would love a home with a securely fenced, above-ground yard to help him build his confidence. He needs to be kept on a leash when outside the fence or near open doors and vehicles, as he can be a fast mover when scared. He enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those with calm, gentle personalities. He'd be perfectly happy as your one-and-only, or with respectful canine companions. He currently ignores the resident cat.

Joker is generally healthy and ready for his next chapter.

Training & Support

Joker is potty trained but has recently had some indoor accidents, possibly due to being nervous around the larger foster dog. He is working on kennel training, but he much prefers being with his people! He is also ready to start learning leash skills. Patience, consistency, and lots of love will help him continue to make wonderful progress. He requires regular grooming, as is typical for his breed.
