About Thea

Thea is a sweet 55-pound Staffordshire Terrier mix who was found as a stray in New Orleans, heavily pregnant. Thankfully, kind people rescued her and brought her to a shelter where she received veterinary care. Sadly, she experienced some difficult complications and didn't have her puppies. She herself was very ill, but through a miracle, Thea bounced back and is now 100% healthy! She's ready to leave her past behind and find a loving home where she can finally enjoy the good life she deserves. Are you her savior and forever person?

Ideal Home

Thea would thrive in a home that can offer her love and stability. She is dog-friendly.

Ongoing Health

Thea is fixed, dewormed, fully vaccinated for the year (Rabies, Distemper Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, 4 strains of Leptospirosis, Bordetella), microchipped, and heartworm tested. If she tests positive for heartworm, her rescue will fully fund her treatment. She is current on flea and heartworm preventative.
