Nova is a sweet 2-month-old female Hound mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love! She's a bundle of puppy energy, ready to bring joy and excitement to her forever home. Nova is eager to learn and grow with a committed family who can guide her through potty, crate, and leash training. She's currently learning to socialize in her shelter environment and is very excited about the possibility of meeting you!
Ideal Home
Nova would thrive in an active home ready to invest time in her training and socialization. She has been doing well with cats and can be good with children, but proper socialization is key. A meet and greet is required if you have other dogs.
Ongoing Health
Nova has received a general check-up, medication for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ticks, and age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper. She is microchipped. As she is too young to be spayed, a $50 refundable deposit is required at the time of adoption, to be refunded upon proof of sterilization. You will also be required to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian within 10 days of adoption and follow a recommended veterinary care plan.
Training & Support
As a young puppy, Nova will need consistent guidance in potty, crate, and leash training. She is also learning proper socialization skills. Early training and positive reinforcement will set her up for success.
