Dottie

Dottie is a 4-year-old, 62-pound female ready to bring endless cuddles and goofy antics into your life! She's a loyal companion who loves to play, especially with rope toys and stuffies. Dottie is incredibly intelligent and food-motivated, making training a breeze. Her foster mom describes her as a "cuddle bug" with a personality that will keep you laughing, always wanting to be by your side.

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home that can provide at least one good walk or play session daily. She enjoys running and playing but is also a champion cuddler. While Dottie is generally dog and cat friendly, she does best with one or two calm, larger dogs. She can also be very happy as the sole pet, soaking up all your attention. Due to past experiences, Dottie would do best in a home without young males or teenage boys, or an all-female household, as she has shown apprehension towards them. She is excellent when meeting women.

Ongoing Health

Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dottie is fully potty trained and crate trained, though she's also comfortable free-roaming. She walks well on a leash but can pull and bark when she sees other dogs. She is eager to please and picks up on training very quickly.

Transporation

Dottie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. She is eligible for transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
