Klarabella is a 2-year-old CARAMELO DOG / Lab mix weighing approximately 46 pounds. She is an outgoing, energetic, and affectionate girl who loves to play and be around people. Klarabella is very social and gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, children, men, and women. She has a fun-loving personality and brings excitement and joy wherever she goes. She loves attention, enjoys playtime, and forms strong bonds with her people. She was rescued after being found wandering the streets of Houston, where she was cared for by a taco stand owner. The owner reached out for help when Klarabella went into heat, and she was rescued just in time to prevent pregnancy and receive the safety and care she deserved. Despite her past, Klarabella remains loving, playful, and full of life.
Ideal Home
Klarabella would do best in a home that enjoys outdoor activities and has a fenced backyard. Families with experience in dog behavior and training, who have an open conscience about rescued street animals and understand their need for protection and education, are encouraged to apply. Patience and high tolerance for rescued puppies are also important.
Ongoing Health
Klarabella has been spayed, vaccinated with DHPPI, rabies, and bordetella, and dewormed. She has a negative heartworm test and a health certificate. Her vaccination booklet is also available.
Training & Support
Like many active young dogs, Klarabella can be mischievous and enjoys destroying plastic items, containers, and toys if left unattended. She will do best with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and durable chew toys. She is not house-trained. The rescue organization emphasizes that they are unable to house-train every foster pet due to the large number of animals in their care.

Transportation
Klarabella is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, and is available for transport to the East Coast and PNW. A transport fee of $400.00, paid by the adopter prior to departure, will apply.
