Meet Venus! This 5-year-old, approximately 45 lb spayed female Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix is pure sweetness wrapped in a goofy, fun-loving package. Venus is incredibly affectionate, the type of dog who melts your heart with a gentle head rest on your lap and adoring gazes. She's a wonderful companion, happy to match your energy, whether you're looking for a cuddle buddy on the couch or an adventurous partner for outdoor fun.
Venus has a blast playing with other dogs, enjoying energetic play sessions, wrestling, and zoomies in the backyard. She also adores her toys and loves engaging in play with her people. If there's water involved, Venus is in her element! From splashing in a kiddie pool to joyfully playing in streams on hikes, she's a water-loving goofball. She's also a fantastic car rider, making her the perfect co-pilot for any adventure.
Ideal Home
Venus would thrive in a home where she's a cherished member of the family. A home without cats is best, as she shows a strong interest in chasing them. While she hasn't met very young children, she could do well with older, respectful children who understand boundaries and enjoy including her in daily activities.
Ongoing Health
Venus is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She does best when fed separately using a slow feeder to manage her enthusiastic eating habits.
Training & Support
Venus is house-trained, crate-trained, and trustworthy when left loose in the house. She is learning leash manners and can pull, but she is a quick learner and highly food motivated.

Venus is currently being fostered in Woodinville, WA. Transports run every few weeks, and approved adopters will be placed on the next available transport.
