Curly Sue

Curly Sue is a wonderful livestock guardian with a beautiful, curly coat that suggests possible Akbash and Kuvasz or Komondor heritage. She came to us from Oklahoma and is proving to be excellent with our goats and other dogs, and she hasn't bothered our barn cats. While she is shy and not yet well-socialized with people, she is learning to trust and will happily take a treat from your hand. With gentle patience, she enjoys having her ears and butt scratched once you gain her trust. She has not been trained to wear a collar or walk on a leash.

Ideal Home

Curly Sue would thrive in a home that needs a dedicated livestock guardian for goats. She is not suited for homes with free-ranging chickens.

Curly Sue is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Curly Sue needs a patient adopter who can help her build confidence and trust with people. She will benefit from positive reinforcement and a gentle approach to leash training.
