Ozzy

Ozzy is a handsome 2-year-old Great Pyrenees weighing 85 lbs, fully vetted and microchipped. He's a happy boy who loves to chill, especially when things are quiet. Ozzy enjoys car rides and walks well on leash with a gentle leader. He gets along with dogs he knows and loves to play outside (weather permitting) with his toys, especially his elk antlers. Ozzy is affectionate and loving but also possesses the Great Pyrenees independence, and can be aloof with new people as he assesses his surroundings. He is working on food bowl aggression and has shown great improvement with training and consistency.

Ideal Home

Ozzy thrives in a rural or quiet setting with less stimulation from busy roads and frequent foot traffic. He prefers not to have continuous outside stimulation from close neighbors, cars, passing dogs, or children playing. A fully fenced yard (no invisible fence) is required. Due to his nature, Ozzy would do best in a home without children under the age of 16 and no cats.

Training & Support

Ozzy is working on food bowl aggression and has made significant progress with training and consistency. His new family will need to be mindful of this and continue his training, especially if other dogs are present. He takes food gently from your hand.
