Sayde is a bright, driven, and incredibly energetic 2-year-old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix, weighing about 60 lbs. She was a devoted mom to nine healthy puppies and is now ready to be the center of attention. Sayde absolutely loves to play fetch and enjoys splashing in water from a garden hose. She's very affectionate, loves giving hugs, and would happily share your bed or rest in an open crate or on a large dog bed. True to her intelligent working-breed nature, she quickly learned to use a dog door and thrives on mental and physical activity.

Ideal Home

Sayde will do best with an experienced owner who understands the needs of high-energy working breeds and can provide consistent structure, training, and daily exercise. She is not a beginner-friendly dog. Due to her energy level and herding instincts, any children in the home should be over the age of 10 and able to interact appropriately.

Ongoing Health

Sayde is currently undergoing treatments for heartworm disease. Until her treatments are completed and she has fully recovered, she is available for adoption only in the Atlanta area. She must be able to come to Furkids' shelter for treatments. Sayde has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

With the right guidance, Sayde has the potential to excel in training, dog sports, or as a devoted companion. She thrives on mental and physical activity.
