Mona

Mona is a beautiful 2-year-old Mountain Cur mix who came to us with other dogs when her owner faced hard times. Now, Mona is blossoming in her new life and discovering what it means to be a dog! She's a sweet, smart, and active girl who enjoys the company of other dogs. Mona is an energetic goofball with a deep love for stuffed toys! Volunteers have described her as wonderful, independent yet affectionate, and eager to explore. She walked well on a leash and showed good impulse control when asked to return and settle, even in a restaurant setting. We’ve promised Mona the best life, and we think you could make that happen!

Training & Support

Mona is learning to be a dog and is eager to please. She has shown good leash manners and the ability to settle when asked. Her love for sniffing is a great way to engage her curious mind.
