Meet Lady, a sweet and gentle soul in her golden years, searching for a peaceful and comfortable forever home. She's the ideal companion for someone who enjoys a quiet, cozy atmosphere and is ready to share their life with a loving dog who appreciates the simple joys: belly rubs, couch lounging, and the occasional squirrel chase!
Lady's right eye has recently experienced a loss of vision. She's been treated with ointments, but unfortunately, vision will not be regained in that eye. It may eventually require removal if she experiences pain. Despite this, she remains undeterred and still keeps a keen eye on those pesky squirrels! She's adapting beautifully to her new reality and navigating the world with grace. Her joyful, affectionate nature shines through daily, evident in her tail wags, butt wiggles, and sweet kisses.
Ideal Home
Lady thrives in a calm, low-energy environment. She needs time to warm up to new people and other dogs, so slow and respectful introductions are key. She prefers a quieter pace of life and is not suited for a high-energy household. Lady would do best in a home without young children, or with older, respectful children who will give her the space she needs to feel comfortable and secure.
Ongoing Health
Lady has experienced a loss of vision in her right eye, for which she has received treatment. Vision will not be regained in this eye, and it may require removal in the future if she experiences pain.
Training & Support
Lady is house-trained and a pro at leash walking. She's content to lounge while you're away and will greet you with affection upon your return.
