LEONA

Leona is a 2-year-old female who was surrendered to us so that she could find a home that was more suitable for her. She can be a little timid at first, but once she warms up, she's the absolute sweetest little cuddle bug who adores her people and needs lots of love and attention. Leona needs someone gentle, calm, and reassuring, but also someone who will encourage her to play because she loves running around and going wild in the yard! Loud noises and quick movements can still make her nervous, so an adult-only home would be best for her. She barks at strangers, but this is all fear-based, and with time and patience, her confidence will grow. Leona would also do best as the only dog in the home.
