Meet Aero!
This handsome 2-year-old, 45 lb Heeler mix is a shining example of resilience and love. Aero arrived with a heart full of potential and a mind ready to learn. Rescued from a tough situation where he was too scared to even walk on a leash, Aero has blossomed thanks to a loving foster family who gave him a second chance. Now, he's not just walking on a leash, he's practically soaring, ready for any adventure you can dream up! Aero is a smart and active boy, typical of his Heeler heritage, and he thrives on structure and routine. He's happy to join you on a walk, a road trip, or simply hang out in the yard, content to entertain himself with toys or just be part of the family fun.
Ideal Home
Aero would thrive in a home with patient and confident owners who can provide clear guidance and consistency. Given his herding instincts and tendency to nip occasionally, a family with older children would be ideal. He gets along wonderfully with the 9-year-old in his foster home and would love a canine sibling who is friendly or opportunities to socialize with other dogs. He is not a fan of cats.

Aero has successfully completed his heartworm treatment.
Training & Support
Aero is eager to learn and bond with his new family. While he's made great progress, he still benefits from continued training and reassurance. Like many dogs who have experienced life on the streets, he will protect his food from other dogs, so he is fed separately in his kennel to prevent any scuffles in his foster home. He's not the biggest fan of kennels, but he's not destructive when left to his own devices, though he might playfully "borrow" a shoe if given the chance! One of Aero's most charming quirks is his love for music; he'll sit quietly and listen when his foster brother plays guitar, and music even helps calm him.
