Oscar-Adoption Pending

Hi there! I'm Oscar, a handsome almost three-year-old fellow looking for my forever home. I'm a very sweet boy who loves to shower my people with kisses and cuddles. I also enjoy trying to get my foster dads to play, though they're not always in the mood. I'm a good boy most of the time, and I'm house and crate trained.

Ideal Home

I would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where I can run and play to my heart's content. I'd also love a canine companion to show me the ropes and be my playmate. While I'm good with older kids (10+), I might be a bit too enthusiastic for younger children and could accidentally knock them over.

Ongoing Health

I do get a bit scared at the vet and groomer, and my doctor says I "flail" when I'm nervous. To help me stay calm, I take some medication before these appointments. For full grooming, I need to be sedated at the vet. I'm up-to-date on my vaccines and heartworm medication.

Training & Support

I'm already house and crate trained, and I walk well on a leash. However, I do have a lot of energy, and if I don't have a place to run, I might express it indoors. I think some training would be great for me, as I love to be busy and would benefit from redirection. I also really love to sleep on the couch!
