Josie

Josie is a 5-month-old, 19 lb female Retriever mix with a stunning one brown and one ice blue eye! She's a sweet and lively pup who was rescued with her siblings and is now enjoying learning the ropes of being a playful puppy. Josie is crate trained but definitely prefers the comfort of a couch or bed, making her a wonderful snuggle buddy. She loves toys and sunbathing, and is working on her leash manners. While exploring new things can be a bit intimidating, she's doing well with potty pads and hopes her future family will be patient as she continues to learn. She's already shown she can be great with gentle kids and would also enjoy doggy playmates. Josie can be a little timid at times, but her sweet and cuddly nature shines through. She's eager to find her forever home and start bonding with her new family.

All core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, and microchip are included in the adoption fee.

Training & Support

Josie is working on her potty training, with good progress on potty pads. She is also practicing her leash manners and can be a bit timid when exploring new things, so patience will be key.

Transportation

Josie is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to her new home in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and other states on the East and West Coast.
