Howdy! My name is Cookie, and I am a sweet and friendly female Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog mix, about 6.5 years old, and I weigh 68 lbs. A few years ago, I was taken in by a San Antonio rescue and sent to a foster home, but adoptions in Texas are slow! Thankfully, 4 Little Paws Rescue, based in Connecticut, has offered to help, so I can finally find a forever home! I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, happy, and lovely, and I'm more than ready to meet you!
I am a calm, easygoing lady who is friendly with everyone I meet, including kids and strangers. I'm nonchalant about other dogs, not really the dog playmate type, but my heart belongs to people. I adore their company, visiting everyone at social gatherings, and I LOVE going for walks and tagging along on road trips. My foster mom says I am very sweet-natured and would make a wonderful lap dog if only I were smaller, but I'm thinking 68 lbs is small enough, LOL! I'm well-behaved, rarely bark, don't jump fences, not scared of thunderstorms, housebroken, and don't mind a kennel. I am smart and eager to please, ready for any adventure or just some snuggling on the couch watching TV.
Ideal Home
Cookie loves people of all ages and would make a wonderful companion. While she's friendly with other dogs, she's not the most playful and would likely do best in a home where she can be the center of attention or with a canine companion who is also low-key.

Training & Support
Cookie is housebroken, rarely barks, doesn't jump fences, and is comfortable in a kennel. She is smart and eager to please, making her a joy to train.

Transportation
Cookie is currently in Texas but is available for transport to Connecticut and many other states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee, and options are available to get Cookie to your location even if you are outside our typical adoption areas.
