Nina

Hi there! I'm Nina, a sweet 2-month-old Lab mix puppy with a whole lot of love to give. I recently came from a shelter in Puerto Rico and I'm dreaming of finding my forever home in the DC area. I'm a playful pup who loves to explore, get my zoomies out, and then cuddle up for some well-deserved snuggles. I'm really looking forward to making new doggie friends and going on lots of walks. Plus, I'm eager to start puppy obedience classes to show off how smart I am!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home that will give me plenty of opportunities to play with toys and burn off my puppy energy. I also need lots of walks and playtime. Since I'm still a young puppy, I'll need multiple potty breaks and exercise throughout the day, so a home with a standard 8-hour workday would need to make arrangements to meet my needs.

Ongoing Health

I've received age-appropriate vaccines, but I'm not fully vaccinated yet. It's the adopter's responsibility to ensure I get my remaining puppy vaccines on schedule. Until I'm fully vaccinated, I'll be at a higher risk for illness. I also haven't been spayed or neutered yet. This will need to be done no later than November 4, 2026, as per the adoption contract.

Training & Support

I'm ready to learn and will need to work on my house training. I'll also benefit greatly from attending obedience school to help me grow into a well-socialized dog.
