Onyx

Onyx is a smart, super cuddly young boy who loves to snuggle on the couch. He is housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained. Onyx knows the command "sit" and is well-behaved in stores like PetSmart and Tractor Supply, showing no fear of strangers or other dogs. He has no food or toy aggression and understands to eat only from his bowl, and he doesn't beg for human food. Onyx gets along great with other dogs, having been around pups from 5 to 100 lbs. He enjoys playing and barking with other dogs outside but refrains from barking indoors. While he did bark at other dogs in the pet store, we are working on correcting this behavior. We don't know Onyx's breed, but his coat doesn't mat, he has a long snout, and he seems very intelligent. He did bark at cats during a store visit.

Ideal Home

Onyx would do well in a home that appreciates his cuddly nature and his playful spirit. He has shown he can be around cats, but he did bark at them in a store, so continued training in this area may be beneficial.

Ongoing Health

Onyx has received two sets of vaccinations, was treated for giardia, and had a great veterinary exam. He is microchipped, current on NexGard Plus, and has been neutered.

Onyx is already housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained. He knows "sit" and has no food or toy aggression. We are working on correcting his barking at other dogs in public places.
