Toby

Hi, I'm Toby! I'm a sweet, medium-sized adult boy who came to the shelter because my owner developed allergies. It's been a big adjustment, and I'm still learning that the world isn't so scary, but I'm trying my best every day! I can be a bit fearful in new or busy environments, and sometimes walks can feel a little overwhelming. However, when I'm in a quieter space, I really start to relax and show my true self. Once I feel safe, I absolutely love gentle pets and attention! I'm a toy enthusiast, especially when it comes to bones and balls, and I'm very treat-motivated – I take treats so nicely, too!

Ideal Home

Toby would do best in a calm, patient home where he can build confidence and feel secure. He has done well with other dogs. We don't have a known history with cats or children.

Ongoing Health

Toby is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Toby is showing strong signs of being house-trained. He's very treat-motivated, which will be a great asset for any training!
