Project dog, need a chance!!!

Archie is a 2-year-old, 16-pound bundle of smarts and potential! He was rescued from a dire situation and is now looking for a second chance at a happy life. Archie is treat-motivated and would likely excel in activities like agility training. He is crate trained, potty trained, and has experience with a doggie door. He has a favorite toy, a "Moe cow," that he loves to play with. Archie is a survivor who, due to his past, may be a little hand-shy but has never bitten anyone. He gets along with other dogs but is selective about his canine companions.

Ideal Home

Archie would thrive in a home that understands he may need some time to build trust. His past experiences have made him a little hand-shy, so a patient and gentle approach will be key.

Ongoing Health

Archie's teeth look great and he does not require a dental cleaning at this time.

Training & Support

Archie is already crate trained, potty trained, and doggie door trained. He may be a bit hand-shy due to past abuse, so patience and positive reinforcement will be important as he adjusts.
