Dottie is a 4-year-old, 62-pound bundle of joy who is ready to shower her forever family with love and laughter! She's a super smart, food-motivated girl who learns new things in a flash, and her goofy personality is guaranteed to keep you smiling. Dottie is a loyal companion who just wants to be by your side, whether she's snuggled up on the couch or out exploring the world with you.

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home that can provide at least one good walk or play session daily. While she's friendly with other dogs and cats, she does best with one or two calm canine companions or would be happy as the sole pet. A home without young males is preferred, as she can become anxious around them due to past experiences. She is wonderful when meeting women.

Ongoing Health

Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dottie is a dream when it comes to house and crate training, and she walks beautifully on a leash, though she may pull and bark if she sees another dog. She can be a bit vocal when initially left alone, but she settles down without causing any trouble. Her foster mom notes that she can get overstimulated in large groups of dogs but enjoys playing with rope toys and stuffed animals.
