Peter

Peter, a sweet boy born in May 2026, is a calm and loving pup with a heart of gold. He is incredibly affectionate, showering his favorite humans with gentle tail wags and adoring glances. Peter is a professional lap warmer who loves to be held and will melt into your chest with contentment. He was born at his foster home after his mom was found as a stray. His mom is around 25 lbs, and the dad is unknown, but he is estimated to be a medium-sized dog.

Peter would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of affection and cuddles.

Ongoing Health

Peter will be up-to-date on all vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. He will also have a fecal analysis and a health exam completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of adoption.

• The adoption fee for out-of-state adoptions is $350 plus transport, which varies by location.
• The adoption fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months and older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old.
• All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention.
• Adoption interviews and meet-and-greets are conducted via video call.
• Please note that adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis, as the rescue's sole purpose is to find the best possible home for each animal.

Peter is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. He is available for transport to a predetermined location agreed upon by Wags.
