Faris

Meet Faris! This adorable 7-month-old Chihuahua mix has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He's playful, goofy, and full of joyful puppy energy, but when he's ready to recharge, he's happiest curled up in a cozy spot near his people. Faris is sweet and affectionate, loves being included in daily life, and enjoys attention, treats, and walks. He settles best when he feels like part of the family. One of his cutest quirks is how he follows his humans around like a little shadow, using his expressive face to "talk" to you.

Ideal Home

Faris will do best with an adopter who's excited to keep him engaged with regular exercise and interactive play. He enjoys being around respectful older kids and would make a great candidate for a family home. He also does well in the car and is a calm passenger who loves looking out the window. He settles best when he has a canine buddy nearby, so a home with another dog would be a great fit. While he can live with cats, his playful puppy energy might be a bit much for some, so he'd do best with cat-savvy felines and managed, supervised interactions.

Training & Support

Faris is crate trained at night and does well, especially with a canine buddy. He's still working on potty training and will need a consistent routine, frequent potty breaks, and supervision. Like many puppies, he can be a chewer and may go for rugs or shoes if they're within reach, but he redirects well to appropriate toys and bones. He walks nicely on leash overall and isn't typically reactive to everyday distractions. He may be uncertain around some larger dogs, so slow introductions and continued positive socialization will help him build confidence.
