Groundhog is the ultimate velcro companion who lives for connection, always leaning his whole weight into you and burying his head in your lap to show he's by your side. You can see his signature "Booty Boogie" dance in action in his video! His massive, happy pink tongue is his main event, constantly unfurled to showcase his pure joy. Groundhog is a gentle, sensitive gentleman who tackles every day with a wagging tail and a heart full of joy.
Ideal Home
Groundhog's dream home includes a fenced-in yard where he can zoom, "boogie," and sunbathe. He's looking for a family that understands that the best things in life are worth a little extra love and patience. He is happy to be your one and only star or would do well with a low to medium energy dog. We can arrange a supervised meet with cats to see if he'd be willing to share his couch.

Training & Support
Groundhog is a goofball who keeps everyone laughing and loves to hang out, soaking up head rubs. He is a true friend to all dogs and has a thoughtful way of making friends, often pausing to "read the room." He's not a high-octane wrestler, preferring chill vibes. He is shy with kitties, so we will arrange a "kitty slumber party" to assess compatibility.

- Your adoption fee of $1,200 includes all vetting, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, a Martingale collar, health certificate, and transport.
- You will meet your pet via video call before finalizing adoption.
- Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
Transportation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport has an additional $87 surcharge.
