Fritz

Meet Fritz! This spunky, fun-loving German Wirehaired Pointer mix is approximately 8 weeks old and ready for his forever adventure. Fritz was found as a young puppy and is now thriving, showing off his playful, curious, and intelligent personality. He's expected to grow to over 50 lbs, with those adorable oversized paws being a sure sign of his future size. Fritz is a bundle of puppy energy, but also loves to snuggle. He's smart, eager to please, and highly food-motivated, making training a joy. He already knows his name and is working on mastering "sit."

Ideal Home

Fritz would thrive in an active home ready for the commitment of raising a puppy, especially one with the intelligence and energy of a working breed. He's wonderful with people, children, and other dogs. While he's learning to manage his teething mouthiness, gentle supervision around younger children is recommended as he continues to learn boundaries.

Ongoing Health

Fritz is up-to-date on vaccinations for his age, has been dewormed, is microchipped, and is on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Fritz is still learning to sleep independently and will need continued crate training and structure from his new family. He's an early riser, often starting his day around 4:30 AM. Patience, consistency, time, and commitment are essential for his continued development.

Our primary rescue is located in Houston, Texas, with foster homes in multiple regions. Transport is available to approved adopters for an additional fee.
