Dayna

Dayna is a gorgeous 2-year-old Foxhound with beautiful eyes and a sweet, playful personality. This approximately 40-pound girl is great with cats and dogs! Dayna can be quite a silly and independent girl. Her true love is nature and going for walks, where she can't wait to meet new people and dogs, splash in streams, and search for deer or fox. She walks fairly well on a leash, but will pull if she sees or smells a deer or fox, true to her breed. She enjoys getting in the car and traveling with her humans wherever they go. Dayna would love to be your best friend, greet you at the door, take adventures together, and curl up on the couch afterwards. She enjoys being petted on her head and chin.

Ideal Home

Dayna's ideal home would provide her with plenty of exercise, preferably in the great outdoors. A fenced yard would be a plus.

Training & Support

Dayna is very food-driven, so treats can be a great motivator for training. She walks fairly well on a leash but may pull when tracking scents, a common trait for her breed.

Transportation

Dayna is currently in North Carolina and will be arriving in Maryland on August 1st. She will be fostered in a loving home in Maryland.
