She also enjoys playing with toys and will happily keep herself entertained with them when she's not busy running around with her doggy friends. She's house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained, though she may pull slightly on the leash when she sees another dog because she's excited to say hello and make a new friend. Kai has also done beautifully with children and thrives on the affection and attention she receives from them. She has no issues with stairs and rides like a champ in the car, making her a versatile companion wherever life takes you. Kai can be left out unattended in her foster home, though we always recommend crating any new dog until they've had time to acclimate to a new environment. The only thing that can ruffle her happy-go-lucky nature is loud noises or storms, which can make her a little nervous, but with love and reassurance, she settles well.
