Brax

Meet Brax, a 6-year-old, medium-sized cattle dog mix with a heart of gold. He's been waiting patiently at the shelter for over 4 years, hoping for his forever home. Brax was found wandering the streets, abandoned by his previous owner. We once thought he was a ladies' man who wasn't fond of men, but he surprised us all by immediately bonding with one of our male staff members! Brax is a silly, wiggly ball of energy who loves to jump, run, and play in the yard. He also enjoys walks and playing in the water. He's a big softie for baby talk and loves being petted all over, though he's not much of a cuddler.

Ideal Home

Brax is looking for a home where he can thrive with plenty of opportunities for play and exercise. Due to his high energy and selective nature, he would do best in a home without young children or cats. He will need multiple visits before adoption and a secure room dedicated for him when guests are over.

Brax is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Brax is people-selective, so it will be important to continue meeting him multiple times before adoption. He is good with slow introductions to other dogs but can be protective of his food, so he cannot eat with them.
