At just 1 year old, Benji is a sweet Terrier mix who ended up in a shelter through no fault of his own. His previous owner had too many dogs, and Benji was surrendered. While he was described as playful and friendly before, the stress of shelter life made him extremely fearful. Benji would cower, have accidents, and even snap when scared. Now in the care of No Stray Left Behind, he is starting to feel safe and learn that gentle hands mean kindness. With patience and trust, this shy boy is blossoming and ready to find his forever home.
