Leo (LOCATED AT BTDR HQ)

Meet Leo, an 8-year-old pup with a big heart and a hopeful spirit. Leo journeyed all the way from Dominica, carrying the weight of a difficult past, and is now in Massachusetts seeking the warmth and love of a forever family. He's not looking for a life of strenuous activity, but rather the simple joys of a cozy bed, gentle affection, nutritious meals, and the security of knowing he's finally home. Leo dreams of spending his senior years feeling safe, cherished, and deeply loved.

Ideal Home

Leo would thrive in a calm environment where he can relax and feel secure. While he can manage one or two steps, a home with multiple flights of stairs would be too challenging for his senior legs.

Ongoing Health

Leo is fully vetted and has a dental procedure scheduled for July 8th to ensure he's feeling his best. He does experience some discomfort in his legs due to his age and will require ongoing pain management with gabapentin and meloxicam to keep him comfortable.

Training & Support

Leo is a gentle soul who is ready to offer quiet companionship and immense gratitude to his forever family. His biggest need is a loving and patient home where he can truly unwind and feel safe.
