Meatball

Meatball is a wonderful 4.5-year-old, 40 lb. gentleman who came to us when his owner could no longer keep him. Through no fault of his own, he found himself in our care. He was a bit under the weather with heartworm when he arrived, but he's since received treatment and was cleared in February 2026 – he's now ready to find his forever home! Meatball is a true people-lover and even enjoys the company of cats. He can be a bit picky when it comes to his canine pals, so a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is a must, or he might be happiest as the sole canine in the household.

Ideal Home

Meatball would love a home where he can shower his people with affection. He gets along well with cats, but his compatibility with dogs needs a careful introduction. He might be happiest as the only dog in the home.

Ongoing Health

Meatball was treated for heartworm and is now fully cleared and healthy!

Training & Support

Meatball is food-motivated, which can be a great asset in training! He's generally a social boy, but his interactions with other dogs require a careful approach.
